This slow-paced, gentle hatha yoga class uses a block and a bolster and plenty of modifications to help ease you into the yoga practice, calm your nerves, slow down your mind and encourage your body to relax. In Sarah's first class with DYWM, she brings her 13 years of teaching experience and certifications in Integrative Yoga Therapy, Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, Functional Yoga Therapy, Restorative Yoga and Pain Care Yoga into this all levels class. If you don't have a bolster, learn how to make a bolster at home. The beautiful background music playlist is provided by Yogitunes.

This class was perfect for me today. After struggling all week with a difficult head cold, the gentle guidance and variations given was just what I needed. Excellent slow class and I appreciated the gentle reminders.

Soothed my stiff neck. Perfect, gentle and so calming. Enjoyed the modification suggestions throughout. I would love more from Sarah. I learn to care for my body with her guidance and the cue to check the level of hips is so helpful. This is an area of weakness in my practice.

After a rough couple of days with a tender back, I took this class instead of crawling into bed and am so happy I did. What a terrific experience and I surely will revisit this as one of my favorites. I hope to see more from this new instructor to DYWM. Sarah, you are fantastic. With the options you provide, this practice will suit me on good and bad days. The music was delightful and calming. Thank you.

Excellent class, for any & all levels. I've been a yoga teacher for 16 years, am finally bringing my beginner and athlete husband into practice. This one is perfect for us both. Also the cues, voice, and amount of "talk" was just perfect here.

I enjoyed the reminder to listen to my body, but found the constant reminder distracting. My awareness was constantly being pulled from within to hearing the instructors voice. Not a restful practice for me at all, just too much talking.
