Forearm Balance: Strong Core and Solid Base

In Fiji's 2nd class in her 4-part series on preparing the body for forearm balance (pincha mayurasana). Progressing from what you learned in Forearm Balance: Shoulder Stability and Mobility, she helps you work with the demand that forearm balance has on your core strength and how the strength creates the solid base that you need to do this challenging safely. It's a tough pose to master so take your time learning the technique and testing your body's limits. This class will prepare you for the next step in Forearm Balance: Workshop and Forearm Balance: Partner Play.

Great core class!
I really love how you hold the block between your legs to engage the muscles, it has been a tremendously helpful exercise for me. My blocks are much thicker than yours, though, which is problematic. How thick are the blocks you are using? Another instructor I follow also uses blocks that size, and I would really like to get some. Thank you!
Quick but nice workout, my core is very warm and toasty now. Thanks Fiji, as always very enjoyable.
