This class can be done as a stand-alone class or as day 6 in Fiji's 14-Day Yoga Challenge, Elevate. Fiji sets out to challenge your balance in this class, paying particular attention to setting up good foundations as she takes you through a multi-level approach to a variety of arm balance poses. Note that it will help if you have a clear piece of wall to practice against.

I wonder if I will every be able to do these arm balances, but was totally into it. I felt like a child rising to a new challenge playfully. Interestingly, some of right shoulder and shoulder blade tension actually felt alleviated after the practice which makes me think that maybe strengthening this area will improve the situation.

That was great, with a lot of stuff that I could not yet do! I basically did not manage to get into ANY of the arm balances, haha, and then totally surprised myself by succeeding at the very last one! Had never imagined that I could do that honestly! Woohoo :) Thank you Fiji!

This class was challenging, but I love it! I found it very productive. Day 6 is one of my favorite classes out of the 14 days—— but The entire 14 days is amazing!!

WOW! This was intermediate and yes, you USE the shoulders. A good challenge. A "different" practice. Fiji is right to say "Changing your Perspective". Give it a whirl!!!!
