For the first class in this 5-class series, David helps you loosen your body and connect to sensation using pranayama, meditation and asana. He helps you give attention to your whole body while encouraging you to practice mindfully.

Thank you David. I love all your classes. After a hiatus of quite a few years it's great being back in the yoga flow. I've never quite liked the Sun Salutation, but your explanation and slow step-by-step guidance helps me to start appreciating it!

wonderful flow David and the breathing exercises really pushed me to remain focussed. I'm sure all the extra oxygen will help every system. A lovely calming class and just what a nearly 70 year old body with arthritis needs. Thank you!
Thank you for this beautiful class. I have found a new happy place in this class. The easy sun salutation and warrior 1 and 2 were easy to follow and I will rewatch until I get it right.

You teach so beautifully and with purpose. Ive been doing yoga for many years and at 74 still enjoy it. However, finding it a bit more challenging as arthritis in parts of the body have weakened areas that used to be stronger. So I compensate with more softer approach but still challenging movements using stretching, movement, strengthening poses thru an online program which has proven beneficial but not yoga…during covid I was still doing yoga but it became more painful. But I will be using your yoga beginner classes to more or less start over…I enjoyed this one very much!
Thank you David for this awesome class! I am suffering from lumbar stenosis and spondyloslisthesis which makes me do limited yoga poses but I am so glad to follow your routines in a modified way. I hope you can hold class for spinal stenosis management. Namaste!
So exciting to do a new class with you, David! I love that you have incorporated pranayama with the class! As I practice pranayama more, I am realizing how powerful it is, so thank you for that. Great breathing exercises in this practice. It really brings the student back to the basics of yoga breathing.
