In this vigorous intermediate vinyasa yoga class, Tracey helps ground you in the present moment with some strong standing sequences, incorporating plenty of twists and spine-strengthening movements.
I love this practice so much. I like to come back to it when I haven't done yoga for a week or two, because it's less strenuous than some of Tracey's other Int. II ...of course, there's still challenges, but there's sequences in between that are more on the gentle side.....thank you, as always Tracey!!!
I met the mat thousand times but today was the first time after almost a year off - how silly to disengage with yoga. Anyway, I found the courage and vulnerability to do it again despite I knew I would feel I have list it all. And I wanted this to be with you ;) Thank you for this very nice class. Now, I am connected again with my mat, merci!
This was a delightful session. I appreciate the pace, the balance of challenge and ease, the variety of poses, and especially the instructions, which are really clear and helpful. Thank you
Tracey, What a great grounding and thoughtful practice. Although we held poses for a long time, I was easily able to do it. What a surprise! My knees did not crack once! So something new to learn from your teaching! Namaste!
Lovely, calming, slow-paced class with more stretch than strength or movement, but very grounding. Feels more like Intermediate 1 than 2, perhaps because of the relaxed pace and mostly basic poses - all very yummy though. Tracey is always a treasure, no matter the level!
II think intermediate 1.44, or maaaaaybe 1.56. ;-) Outdooryoga, what to you are the qualities between what might be an Intermediate I & II class? We all have different experiences and hopes of practice, and your assessment caught my attention. I, then, also wonder what are the criteria that DYWM uses -- what checkboxes, perhaps -- to delineate such classifications.
Yes, you can easily get lost down a rabbit hole, with the varying styles and teachers! Our rule is that the teachers decide where the class fits, then we remain open to suggestions from the community.
Wow this is really a delightful and long slow stretch out with some light muscle work sprinkled here and there. I felt so deliciously relaxed and stretched afterward. Just the right amount of challenge for a solidly intermediate, not too difficult flow. I loved the way we held the poses just a bit longer - to really get into them. And I loved the flow between poses and the emphasis on breath work. Just really a great flow if you have a longer stretch of time.
Beautiful, soft flow, enough time to experience each pose and Tracy's wonderful cues and philosophy. Really enjoyed this class, will return to it. I loved having the time to hold the twists longer than in most classes as I'm very restricted through my psoas and back and I'm always looking for classes that address this a bit more. Thank You!
Deep practice which builds flexibility layer by later. Slower pace but challenging due to the depths of the poses. Wonderful cuing and encouragement from Tracey....as always! Thank you
Something devotional just lifts up the practice.. Tracey has that, combined with an understanding of rhythm - everything stays light and centered at the same time. Energy really starts flowing****
I've never met you, but have been practicing with you for years. I am always so excited to see a new video. Thank you for the slower, deeper practice. Just what I needed this sunny Danish morning.....

Is there a specific name for the pose where you're in lizard and then you lift your back foot and reach back to grab it with your hand? Thanks!

Once I again, I really appreciate your classes Tracee. So grounded, present, intentional and strength building!
This is a lovely stretch slow flow practice, thank you Tracey!
What a lovely place to begin any/each time I come to my mat. Thank you! My hips and shoulders thank you.

I was saving this class for a morning when I needed it, and I'm so glad I did. Thank you for a clear and invigorating flow! It was a blessing.
Thank you, as always, Tracey, for your clear instructions. I don't wear my glasses when practicing, and I appreciate your clear verbal coaching.
Lovely for a cold, Covid-19 Easter day in Australia. My husband thanks you.

I had been on vacation and did yoga as much as I could however not my daily, normal practice.
I saved this practice to do once back and settled in to the "daily routine". Such a wonderful practice - especially for the hips and shoulders.
Tracey is such a wondeful teacher. I am blessed to practice with her.

Wow! That class flew by. Thank you for such a purposeful and opening practice.
I always take away something new from Tracy's classes. Thank you.

That was so perfect for today, right through to the title! Thank you, Tracy!

Fun, challenging, and full of so much positive energy! I'm so grateful.
