Bedtime Vinyasa Yoga

Intermediate I

If you sometimes struggle with sleep and feel like the best thing you can do is a yoga class that helps you release excess energy and tension, Tracey's here to help. She slows the pace a bit, compared to other classes, and helps you prepare for bedtime with an intermediate flow, followed by a series of restorative poses that lead you seamlessly into savasana.

Just right -- pacing, sequences, transitions, length. And your cues are not distracting or annoying, just enough to guide. Interesting, short yet effective flow. Thank you again Tracey.

For me, the music was expansive and meditative. This workout was just what I was looking for--a short flow at the end of the day that helped my body release after sitting at the computer all day. Thank you, Tracey.

I normally love Tracey’s classes but I didn’t find this good for a winding down bedtime practice at all. The music put me on edge as it felt ominous, like something out of a horror movie. I think I heard police sirens in the distance at some point, and what sounded like someone clanking around with plates in the kitchen towards the end! Perhaps my overactive imagination, but I didn’t feel relaxed at all, especially with no savasana at the end! Ah it’s a real shame. The class itself is good (apart from the music) and Tracey is a brilliant guide as always, but I wouldn’t recommend this for a relaxing wind down class before bed.

I pulled up this practice after a day-long drive home. Just what I needed.

I signed up for the 30 day challenge and this was the perfect wind down session for a Sunday eve. Tracey's classes always leave me feeling calm and blissed out and this class was no different. Thanks Tracey and happy new year to you! x

A decent hip opening section, but didn't get me in the bedtime mood.

Good short flow to get ready to rest. A few parts were hard for me to follow and I had to look up at the video to figure it out.

This was a lovely practice to set the tone for a relaxed evening and calmer sleep. I will definitely use this again! <3
Thank you for posting such valuable content for free, it really makes a difference for the poor university students, like myself, trying to find peace within a world of chaos.

active and relaxing. I've liked this video for a while- it's great for those days when the only time you have for yoga is right before bed.

This class was a but more energetic than I'm used to for a bedtime session, but loved the practice regardless!

Good short flow. I felt a nice buzz/vibe afterwards, but not sure I’m feeling like this is a pre-bedtime routine.

I find this practice really relaxing and I revisit it often. I do however find the transition from wild thing to seated tree a little awkward. I need to remember to watch how Tracey does it!

Tracy has a way of drawing you in on the mat and teaching you how to also let go. I loved this class.

Nice class but since for me kneeling untucked is painful, some of the joy was missed.

I was skeptical about a vinyasa flow before bed. While not as relaxing as some more hatha/restorative bedtime classes I've done, I was very pleasantly surprised at how ready my mind and body were for a restful sleep after this practice. And I slept sooooo well after doing this.

I was already feeling sleepy, but now I feel more fully stretched and opened, so more prepared for a comfortable nights' rest, I reckon!

Like others I did this as a morning practice. It seems too active for before bed but I will try it. Will all these videos be available after the challenge is over?

A favorite of mine for quite a while. Tracy’s bedtime vinyasa is thoroughly relaxing as well as providing wonderfully strong movements to unwind from a long workday. Thank your for adding this to the challenge.
