This challenging, beginner yoga class is a wonderfully-balanced hatha flow that stretches and strengthens the whole body, through standing poses, seated stretches, reclining postures and core work. Rachel helps you understand alignment and core activation, emphasizing the proper way to do the poses to obtain the most benefit and to feel rejuvenated and relaxed as you take on your day or prepare to wind down into your evening.

I loved this class. Rachel gave guidance that taught me how to more precisely do poses I've been doing for a while to get their full effect. Yes, definitely challenging, but in a really good way with poses that I could achieve. Thanks, Rachel!!

Rachel is the first teacher after 4-5 years elsewhere who has taught me the hows and whys of Chair Pose, and how to do those twists with adjustments for my midlife holiday belly! True. Class: A doable challenge for me at Beginner II and I am so glad it was included in the Ongoing BII Program.
