In this final class in the Rising Strong series inspired by Brené Brown’s inspiring guidebook, we put the process - the reckoning, the rumble, the revolution - into practice. We empower ourselves to rise to whatever challenges we have yet to face. We build strength and mobility in our shoulders and upper backs to bravely let our hearts shine. Suitable for experienced beginners wanting to deepen their practice, or intermediate yogis wanting to refine their technique.

Love this series and this particular practice. Andrea, you are beautiful and amazing. I ♥️ Your classes.
What a beautiful practice! I love the whole series, it's brilliant! This class in particular gets into all of the sticky bits that can make rising a little wobbly. As Andrea notes, you rise and you rest (as you do in this class), and you find that you rise more often than you think!
Thank you Andrea for creating this series. I'll come back to it again many times. And thank you for introducing half moon with the strap. What a game changer, lol!
You are amazing. I so admire your honesty and beauty. I will be doing the whole series multiple times. Namaste
Couldn’t get enough so I practiced with you again early this morning! Namaste Andrea and everyone who joined in!
I tuned in to this heartfelt practice for the first time in the series. It was beyond powerful, and appreciated! Wonderful sequencing, voice and inspiration, Andrea!
Great class, great series! Thank you!
So creative and genuine. I loved the use of the strap in this, and the quad stretch near the end was the icing on the cake! I always learn something new from your classes and feel so good afterwards. Please keep doing what you're meant to do.
It is a brave and inspiring teacher who is willing to share their struggles with others and then model with grace how to keep trying, reaching and rising. You are one such teacher. I say spend more time in front of that camera!
Thank you so much Andrea.
Your true authenticity and beautiful Soul, shines through your loving instructions and Being.
May All Rise as beautifully and as gracefully as you !
this was so great! you are adorable.....keep it coming!
Thank you, everyone, for your kind words and enthusiasm for this series. This has been quite the journey for me, and seeing myself on video and in photography again was a challenge, even though I knew that the whole purpose of this was to begin to embrace myself again. One thought I keep coming back to: many decades ago when I decided once and for all to quit smoking (I can't believe I ever smoked!), I wrote down all the positive reasons - the things I would gain from releasing myself from this habit. As I move through shifting my habits now, I will employ this same tactic - to LOVE myself through the process. I wish you all well in your brave journeys towards transformation too. ❤️
This is a beautiful series. Thank you, Andrea.
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it.
Thank you for your bravery and vulnerability, for creating creative sequences that gave us the feeling of rising strong, and for offering us the opportunity to grow and consider how we may limit ourselves. This has been a meaningful series for me.
I am so honoured to have made a difference. ❤️
Thank you, Andrea, for the moving and healing experience of this and the other classes of this series!
You are most welcome. As teachers, I feel the best we can do is to offer to others what we need ourselves.
Great class, loved the use of the strap throughout.
I am constantly seeking different ways to help myself during practice. I hope to share more classes on new ways to use props in the future!
Beautiful!!
Thanks for open your vulnerability with this DYWM community.
I loved the use of strap for transitions. Welcome back

Beautiful series. Thank you for your bravery in sharing something that was obviously very personal to you. And for the record, when I see you on screen I see a strong woman who is an amazing teacher. I always look forward to your classes. I’m glad you are back.
Thank you so much, Deb. What I feel we need most is to be truly seen - not for what we look like, but for what our intentions and purpose are. I do feel strong, so thank you for seeing that. ❤️
