What You'll Experience
Part book club, part yoga practice, in this 4-class series, we explore the ways our experiences on the mat prepares us to embody our vulnerability and to rise strong off the mat as we transition into a post-pandemic reality. We dive into Dr. Brown’s Rising Strong methodology:
- to reckon with the stories we tell about ourselves
- to rumble with the truth behind those stories
- to bring forth a revolution from within
- to rise strong so that we may be of service to ourselves and to our communities
This interconnected series combines different styles - slow flow, hatha, and yin yoga - so that we can experience a more holistic approach to cultivating the tools to rise strong. Newer practitioners will develop practical techniques for strengthening their practice while more experienced yogis will benefit from a fresh and nuanced approach to the poses that might feel familiar.
