I did all the vinyasas in this video. Now, can I get that on a t-shirt?!
This is such a fun and joyful class, full of both physical and emotional lightness! I love the quick pacing (quicker than Rachel's older classes) and the precise cueing. Every time I do this one, I find myself laughing out loud at certain points. I'd love to see more intermediate iii or advanced from Rachel!!
This was really an excellent class. The cues!! Wow, so so so unique and most importantly, effective. I really look forward to more intermediate III and advanced classes from Rachel. Thank you Rachel for this amazing class and sharing your wisdom of yoga with us🙏
Thanks Rachel! I so appreciate your vibe and extremely precise coaching! Thanks for not taking yourself too seriously :) If we live in Vancouver is there any way to take yoga from you in person in normal times if we are not in teacher training? Thank you!
All of us here at doyogawithme love having fans come to our classes when they are in town! As studios are currently closed, that is of course more challenging. Make sure you check in with the teacher's website to find the most up to date schedules! https://www.rachelyoga.com/
I loved your cuing, how you started with movement right from the beginning, your use of deer pose as a transition into pigeon, and all of the different ways you accessed the hips. Once I got to flying pigeon, it felt so much lighter and higher, and jumping back felt much more accessible and graceful. My only criticism is that I wish the practice was 15 minutes or so longer! Thank you for a delightful practice!
I am so glad that you enjoyed it!! We have another fun arm balancing class that I just filmed that I think will also be up your alley :) So great to hear from you! Rachel
Absolutely one of my favourites--so challenging and refreshing!
So happy to hear that - I'm very glad you enjoy it :) Rachel
Thank you Rachel, everything feels more loose and light after this fun and moving practise!
I really loved this class. I am a fan of Rachel’s older classes too but very much enjoyed the quicker pace and the playfulness of this new class (while still containing the excellent alignment cues). It was just really fun. Looking forward to trying out some other newer classes from Rachel....
That's such a great observation! And, you know, I think part of the feeling of the style shift may be due to just filming more and becoming a little more playful on camera! I'm so glad that you have enjoyed the classes -and the occasional giggle ;)
Sweet and strong at once, exactly what I needed today! Even with rusty hips you can get nice sensation ;) thank you Rachel!
HA! Sorry I'm so late to respond to this, but I just had to say hello ;) I'm so glad you enjoyed this!
Rachel, you never disappoint!!
Loved it. I love Rachel's classes.
Love this class and the pace. Rachel's instructions are easy to follow. Thank you.
I have done so many DYWM classes over the years and come back to them all again and again, but for some reason have never felt compelled to comment. I so enjoyed this class and Rachel’s light hearted, cheery approach - so refreshing and just what I/we need right now. Fabulous flow! Thanks for putting a smile on my face.
love this class
Loved it! Thanks Rachel, your classes are always amazing!
Beautiful and fun sequencing, spot on cues (as always), and love the option for meditation at the end. Great practice!
Yay, I'm an official member! After years of dabbling in the free content, I did the two months free during quarantine, and loved all additional classes available! Rachel - I love your teaching - I come back to your classes time and time again. You're so knowledgeable, skilled in teaching, and playful and fun! Yesterday, I did Fiji's class for Chakra 2 where we did Flying Pigeon. Little did I know that today would be an excellent review / opportunity to learn more about myself! I also did your Internal Lightness class a while ago - and holy moly, that unlocked a new level of appreciating bandhas. Thank you so much for sharing yoga in the joyful way that you do!
Yay!! Sasha, I'm glad that you enjoyed it (and that you're here!) :)
love this class!
I was so happy to see Rachel had a practice on DYWM! She is one of my favorite teachers. This practice, much like her others, flows well to the "peak pose". Preparation is discussed and executed in various asanas. Rachel's wording and cues are excellent and precise.
This is a great hip opening practice . It is one you can do repeatedly.
Yes, you have me nailed, I love those peak poses LOL! So glad that you enjoyed this class :)
