I enjoyed this class. Julia keeps a nice steady pace and gently heats up the body with several twists, engaging the glutes, abs and hamstrings. To liked the stomach breathing exercises. This is great way to start the day.
I love this morning class! It's truly nourishing and balancing with a perfect pace to tune into the body. I love how Julia added the stomach pumping for digestion. I feel enlivened and ready for the day!

This class was not as much of a work out as I like for a Vinyasa/Power Yoga practice. I thought with a class longer than 30 min I would have a least a half an hour of raised heart rate. The stomach contraction exercises that took a large focus in the center of the class should have been mentioned in the class description paragraph. I wish it had been so I could have made an informed decision on my choice of class.

Wonderful morning practice. Feels great to 'yoga' before food and get my body tuned and open. I also appreciate a morning practice that starts so slow and still has some strenuous warm up bits!

Julia’s ray of sunshine visualization was so helpful in treating my newly awoken body with grace this morning. I am 27 weeks pregnant and she gave reminders and prompts for variations throughout the class for anyone who might need it. I felt like I had “permission” to modify as needed without shame. Great question @kimberlysavage! For Nauli, in our classes Crista teaches it twice: https://www.doyogawithme.com/content/elements-day-10, and https://www.doyogawithme.com/content/power-yoga-wake. Both are done at the beginning of the class if you'd like to give it a try with her instruction.
Otherwise, google and youtube can help significantly if you just type in 'Nauli' or 'Nauli kriya.'
It's a powerful cleansing technique for sure, and takes a while to master. I hope that helps!
