This slow-paced hatha yoga class takes you through a full range of poses, lying on our back and front, seated and standing, and works on flexibility, balance and strength. Sarah teaches at a gentle pace, paying close attention to details and offering a choice of movements to help you find what will work with your body today. This is a slightly more challenging beginner class than Sarah's previous ones on this site.

Nice practice, but maybe just too many maybes for me,
A little slow for my taste, but I do feel very peaceful now.
What I liked most about this class was her constant encouragement, the constant space she provided, to find what's right for my body this day, and with that, her many suggestions of options for each pose.
I enjoyed this slow, relaxing and sweet flow.
Lovely, relaxing practice! I will be doing this one again for sure.

I found the suggestion of so many options very distracting. Too many "mays", "mights", "perhaps"...… I sometimes did not know the pose that Sarah meant to suggest.
To ambiguous, needs to give options but still give clear instructions to start.
I liked the overall slow all body movements.

This was a good practice for a cold day that I wanted something a little more relaxing. I especially liked all the options Sarah offered. This was the first class of Sarah’s I‘ve taken, and I plan to check out if she teaches other classes like this on DYWM. Thanks for providing a quiet, calming start to my weekend.

good beginner class, very soothing voice
I really enjoyed this class. I was having one of those sleepy mornings and thought about skipping my practice. I decided to find a gentle beginner video instead of an intermediate one. Sometimes you just need to slow down. This one was perfect! It was meditative and eased me out of my funk and into a more energetic day. It was full of great stretches with clear instruction. I love her voice and all the modifications she gives. By the end of the class, I felt awake, calm, and was happy I rolled out my mat.
