Fiji inspires me on many levels, from surviving an eating disorder to appreciating every breath and moment and moving our bodies in celebration and to honour their abilities. Today I tried headstand for the first time _ because I’ve been practicing yoga for 20 years and was too chicken until now. My mom is being diagnosed with ALS and it’s a reminder that no one knows how long we have on this planet. It’s time to try things we say we will one day. We only have now. Every practice I have now is dedicated to my mom, may she feel the strength and joy we do.

Very good for humility. Ha, ha. Such a playful and challenging practice. It brings me back to my early days of yoga where laughter was so crucial in trying things. A good reminder. Thank you, Fiji. Namaste.

Lovely practice. Are there any modifications for the first sequence where we support one leg with one knee on the ground. That does not feel right to me, but I would like to have a similar challenge with a pose that is a better fit for me.

Yes! Try putting your foot down on the ground too so there is less pressure on the knee.
