This is the 2nd in a series of three classes that help bring you to the challenging arm balance, Firefly Pose (Tittibhasana). In this class, Fiji, builds on what you learned in Firefly Pose: Arm Strength. This vinyasa flow helps you strengthen and stretch your legs, preparing you for the strength and flexibility that is needed in the legs, hips and back. After you do this class - perhaps a few times over - you're one step closer to the deeply satisfying Firefly Pose you'll find in Firefly Pose: Workshop.

I really enjoyed this class. I especially loved utthita hasta padangusthasana and supta padangusthasana, which I find so infrequently being used in classes. I find they really improve not only balance and strength, but open and release my lower back, hips, knees. I don't use the belt because I'm quite flexible, but I love seeing the instruction with the belt. I can't wait to do class 3 tomorrow. Thanks so much. Namaste from Ireland.

This is one of my go-to classes for post-run stretching. My hamstrings feel so fluid and pliable after this class, and the reduction in DOMS is remarkable! Thank you!

Thank you so much, Fiji! My wife and I are doing the intermediate Empower Yourself 30-Day Challenge together and we loved the first two classes so far. We’re looking forward to finishing this series and doing yoga for the next 28 days together (which is hard with 2 kids and full time jobs)!
