No matter how many 'new' teachers I try, I always come back to Melissa's classes; they resonate with me perfectly !

Melissa has the gift of compassion and gentleness and the ability to impart that to anyone who does yoga with her. This practice is perfect for days when gentle self-care is needed. I normally practice at the upper intermediate levels, but this one is great for times when I can't work at my regular level. It hits all the essential spots in a gentle, slow manner with plenty of space for modifications. Just lovely. Thank you!

I completely agree. These last few months have been hard on literally everyone. I keep coming back to this practice (and other Melissa practices) precisely because I can feel the compassion and gentleness. This practice helps me to remember to be gentle with myself and others. So incredibly valuable for that reason alone.

I finished the 7-Day Challenge, and that's made me want to do every single one of Melissa's classes. So I'm starting here.

You are the greatest, Melissa! I try and do yoga several times during the week and your classes always feel good. You explain precisely so it makes doing the poses easy and your voice is gentle and sweet. Thank you!

Loved the pace and the range of stretches. I think "morning yoga" should be added as a tag to this video as it is perfect to do straight out of bed (no need to warm up first). Thank you Melissa , another great session that I will do over and over

This is a gem of a practice. Want to prepare for meditation? Check - this will engage your mind with gentle stretching and just the right amount of time in each pose. Body stiff in the early morning? Check - this will gently wake you up and stretch you out in a short practice that won’t make you late for work. Dealing with chronic body pain? Check - this is gentle on the body with lots of modifications offered and you will feel relaxed and stretched afterward. Traveling and your hotel room is small? Check - this doesn’t have a lot of side ways movements, so you only need a narrow amount of space. Personally, I’m super grateful for this practice and you will be too. Give it a try, no matter your level! Thanks Melissa and DYWM!

A really nice class after a stressful day at work. Calming but still enough to stretch out some tightness in hamstrings, shoulders, etc. Thanks, Melissa, for your terrific classes.

I normally do Intermediate vinyasa style but this was the perfect "I've been knocked down by the flu and starting to feel better and need to do something" practice. Worked some stiffness out, opened my lungs and hips and now I feel I can rest comfortably. Thanks
