Thank you for another stretchy class.
Thank you very much! Wonderful practice!
I've been teaching for 23 years and am the owner of Yoga4Life Studio in Wolfeboro NH and Tracey is my favorite instructor ever! This class was epic. Thank you!
Joy, serenity, inner power, flow.
Thank you! I have done all your classes multiple times ....they are always such a revelation ! Namaste <3
Joy indeed! Namaste Tracey,
Absolutely loooove this class, thank you Tracey your delivery is amazing! "Nothing to do, nowhere to go, just be in the balance" or something along those lines was such an "aha" moment for me, life being a constant balance :) thank you deeply from my heart!
YES! YES! YES! I love those aha moments :)
Wow! Tracey you have done it again! You're my favorite instructor ever, and this practice is an excellent example of why. 10 out of 5 stars. Love from Colorado <3
Lovey practice, opened up pretty much my whole body, thank you. I have a question...there are two spots where Tracey has us in a wide-legged kneel (like a wide-legged hero) and asks us to lift our hips off our heels. (first one is somewhere around 18:00) I run into this in Fiji's classes too. This is difficult and I can't figure out why or where the tight/stuck spot is. Front? Back? neither? ie, Anatomically, what needs to be open for this pose to happen? Thank you.
Hi Susie, thanks for reaching out with your question. This particular variation of hero's pose is a preparation for back bending. There is a lot going on here, healthy knees, open hips, freedom in the shoulders and of course space for the lift of our heart. If it is challenging for you, I might recommend sitting on a block to see how it feels for your knees, and hips. You can start with that, and when comfortable slide back to the floor. Start slowly with lifting one arm at a time up and rotate, honour how it feels. From there you can play with the rotation of one arm at a time reaching back. The tight spots might be hip flexors, low back or shoulders.
It is a bit difficult for me to assess without seeing you. I hope this helps, and if you would like a little more information please email me [email protected]
Thanks!!
Ok great, working with the block sounds like a good place to start. I have a hunch it's hip flexors, but since I know little to nothing about anatomy, I don't really know how they work and it's hard to visualize what's happening. Wish I could come up there and have you assess in person. Some day! You're not that far from northern Oregon :-) Meanwhile, I'll be patient and will accept that different parts of the body open up at different paces. Thank you very much for the suggestions!
Absolutely love this sequence, thank you.
A friend recommended I try Tracey's class. So glad I did! The side balance poses were challenging, but prepared me for the beautiful utthita hasta padangusthasana (extended hand-to-big-toe pose). Thank you!
Amazing energy in this class. I love your cues. You go straight to the heart of things. You're a beautiful teacher.
Thank you Jeana, and what better place to practice around is 'our heart'. So glad you enjoyed it!
Wonderful practice, thank you!
Truly a gift to be guided so gently and fearlessly through such a 50 minutes. I'm ready to carpe dium!
LOVE IT!
Great yoga class, loved the slow purposeful movement, breathing and stretching. Thanks Tracey
Great class, well paced, well instructed, well ended, well balanced....thanks.
Ahhh... I feel much better! :)
Been feeling a bit crummy today during our continued self-quaratine, wondering how to feel purposeful, and resulting in a bummed-out feeling w/not much to do. In the middle of this class, I realized maybe this time my purpose is for self-care, and I felt joy. Thank you! :)
YES! Self care is so important right now ~ time for you, and time to be. Keep practicing and finding joy within. Tracey
thank you, beautiful class :)
Oh Tracey how I love ya! What a beautiful class again. Warming both the body and the spirit, and true emotional release as well <3 Lots of gratitude!
And lots of gratitude back for practicing with me!!
Wonderful class, and aptly named. I loved the gentle pace which lets us enjoy the poses and do them well. This was my first class with Tracey and I'll definitely check out the other ones!
Nice! Enjoy and keep practicing!
Fantastic challenging class which is perfectly paced , as in, not frenetic :) and is a full body workout. Tracey,as always, gives precise, loving guidance and beautiful instruction.
Love Tracy and this class is wonderful. I'll be coming back to practice this one again. Many thanks. :)
Great, loved the pace!
This class was so lovely. I'm self-quarentined due to exposure to covid, and this really helped to keep me sane today. The perfect balance of challenge and love. My body feels so good right now <3
Wow, what an incredible class! Led by a wonderfully gifted teacher. Now I want to take all of her classes.
You should, she's awesome! :))
Thank you for another wonderful class. During these trying times, we can find sanctuary and choose joy in our home practice.
Oh Tracey, you never disappoint me!!!

I love this practice! Thank you Tracey. My daughter and I enjoyed it on a day off from skiing. It is the perfect blend of opening, balancing and strengthening.
There is something about Tracey's voice and guidance that is so supportive. I always surprise myself with my abilities in her classes, and this one was no exception! Much gratitude.
I have done this class at least 5 times in the past 2 weeks: it is awesome and has always left me with a feeling of joy. Thank you Tracey!!!
Super awesome class! Loved it.
What a beautiful practice. Lots of intermediate poses that a beginner could do - modified.
Lots of balancing and joy will come to you by the end of this practice.
Thank you, Tracey! As always.
