Wheel Pose: Full Posture
Tracey's energy and smile make this class a pure joy, particularly when it takes you into the full pose, wheel posture (chakrasana), also known as upward facing bow pose (urdva dhanurasana). We hope that you will appreciate the gradual, progressive nature of this class and how safe and effective this approach can be. Your spine is delicate, so the gentle opening is a nice way to move into a deep backbend. If you're new to wheel, we recommend that you start with the first class in this series: Wheel Pose: Open the Heart.

Love u Tracey!!! Can’t believe I did it! Namaste
Thank you for this very nice morning practice. Felt great to start the day with a wheel and LOTS of gratitude :)
This class was a great gradual way into wheel pose. I have done full wheel before but it's been awhile. However, the biggest, and unexpected challenge was sitting on tucked toes for so long! My entire legs to toes were burning and I had to take more than one break! Otherwise, great class.
I loved that Tracey needed a break as much as I did during this session. Had she not taken a break when she did, my wrists would not have had the rest they needed to get into wheel later in the class. I will say that maybe a seated meditation where we gathered all of our newly created energy into lovingkindness for ourselves would have been nice there. As she said in a previous class, we come to the mat to meet ourselves; sending lovingkindness to ourselves halfway through a tough practice would have had a nice effect.
