Highway to Hanuman

Intermediate III
In this jivamukti inspired practice, Jonni-Lyn guides you through our exploration of hanumanasana, or monkey pose. Learn to connect with the devotion and bravery that this pose's namesake, hanuman, was famous for. For this class, it is recommended to have 2 blocks, a blanket and a strap, however this is entirely optional.

I enjoyed holding the poses for 5 breaths, allowing me to work on stillness within each pose. The pace is fun and challenging. Thank you.

Great Class!! There are so many things I loved about your class!! I loved that you started with chanting and breath-work. I loved that you called each pose by it's Sanskrit name. I feel on some level, that is very powerful. The class was challenging, but not so challenging that I couldn't keep up. My body feels very energized and I feel wonderful!! Thank you for a wonderful class!

I really enjoyed this, thank you Joni-Lynn! Did this as day 24 of New Year's 2020 challenge and am really grateful to this challenge for introducing me to new styles and teachers, as I tend to always go to the same wonderful vinyasa classes/teachers but I'm enjoying the variety of pace and challenge. Bookmarking this one!

I love Jonni-Lyn's classes! I appreciate the perfect blend of instruction, story telling/commentary and space for silence. Even though I am practicing in my own home she has a way of making me feel like I am in a studio class. Thank you!
