Hi Isabel as a fellow migraine sufferer I hope you don't mind my commenting. Have you done a food diary? This was the best advice I was ever given. Being a sufferer of basalar artery migraine I know how debilitating they can be. Medication drs more medication never being able to control anything etc etc..... My food diary showed me exactly what was affecting me and I also discovered that I have an intolerance to wheat which is a cause of migraine too. I am now much happier avoiding the foods which affect and my migraines are few and far between. Good luck in finding a healthy solution!

Thank you, Fiji, as always! I finished feeling lengthened, relaxed, and grounded. I love how you can make me laugh mid-practice, and rather than making me lose focus, the laughter makes me take an even bigger breath and engage in the pose even more

Hello,

First of all, thank you very much for this great great website. I have just started to use it, and it almost feels as is I'm in a "presential" class! I love how well the teachers explain the practices.

I have question: I'm following DYWM's beginner to intermediate 8 week program, which has these breath exercises as well as meditation. A question I have is whether the program suggests to do all three (yoga exercise, meditation and breathing exercise) 5 days per week, or whether the meditation and breathing is once a week. I guess that the more, the better, but since 2.5h of daily practice seems a substantial amount of time I wanted to know what your recommendation is.

Thank you!

Maite

This is a great and challenging class. I don't believe in chakras and woo, but Fiji does a great job in tying the chakras to real emotions and feelings - great for emotionally crippled degenerates like me. I was initially hesitant to start a seven class chakra course but am glad I've done it. Would recommend to all the skeptics out there. It's basically like therapy and a hardcore workout at the same time.

Learning to "pick up blueberries" and walking to the front of the mat with your heels are just some of the many alternative ways to create a core connection in this excellent, fun class. Thank you so much, Rachel!

I loved this, I'm in pain in my left hip and nothing seems to touch it, running and sitting aggregate it (but as an office worker and a runner I need a solution!). These new deep stretches reached parts I can't normally find. I'll be back for more!

Hi! Thanks for the feedback about the verbal instructions. I'm always trying to leave more silence when I teach (in person and online) and it's tricky to find the balance between too much and too little. I may have missed the mark this time :) If you do the class again can you let me know what you think the second time around? Also there are some new poses in there (that poas release on the block on your back for one) and I wonder if that added to the lack of clarity. Anyhoo, I'd love to know what you think on round 2. Thanks!

I enjoyed this because some of the poses were either too lengthy or too difficult for me to attain/maintain in my current state. I feel that as I strengthen, my ability to keep up with this class, which is currently just out of reach for me, will be an excellent marker of my progress. Thank you.

Dear Melissa,
Like the previous comment I echo the “love your classes” to the power of 10!
Thanks to your gentle, kind and authentic pace yours is exactly what I need(ed) in learning about this relatively “new world of yoga”. Incidentally, your “fear-free” approach (“this will come with time”) to teaching has even inspired me in my own work as a college lecturer in foreign languages.
And one more thing, I now feel comfortable and ready to “click” intermediate!
Thanks for being here!
