Basics and Beyond : Breath and Basics
This can either be done as a stand-alone class or as Day 1 - Breath and Basics in Melissa's weeklong series: Basics and Beyond 7-Day Yoga Challenge. This is a gentle, full body practice that teaches you basic yoga positions and how to connect your breath to your core. It also introduces you to the different shapes that you will work into throughout this challenge.

Melissa's teaching style is so easy to follow. Her words are intentional, providing clear direction with brevity. I can often follow along from audio alone, allowing me to focus on my body's cues. I seem to arrive at each pose with ease and I can feel my body releasing tension along the way. By far, one of my favorite yoga instructors.
