Yoga for Runners: Post-Run
Practicing a few yoga poses after a run, when your muscles are warm and soft, will make you feel a whole lot better the next day. Post-run yoga will decrease injuries and improve the health and strength of muscles. Also, tense muscles have trouble receiving enough blood. Stretching improves the muscles' access to healthy blood and oxygen.

I have been needing something like this for awhile now and I'm glad I finally found it. I love running but it kills my hips and my feet. This session will be part of my run routine from now on. I also want to add that you move your body beautifully and that is quite inspiring.
This has quickly become one of my favorites! Even if I can't get to the video after a run, I've been using many of the poses to help release my legs and recenter my body.
This is amazing i absolutely loved it! Feeling so much better after run!
I've been trying to work up to a 5km run for the past several weeks without really doing any stretching before hand (although I have been doing some gentle hatha afterwards). Today I added your pre and post run sequences to my workout and I was pleasantly surprised by how much more comfortable I felt during my run. Because my body was stretched out and aligned and feeling powerful before hand, I was better able to focus on my breath and pace. This has even seemed to improve some minor knee and hip pain I used to experience on my right side. Will definitely be making this a ritual. Thank you!
