Amongst the classical eight limbs of yoga is one limb devoted exclusively to the ability to focus and sustain your concentration. In this class, Guy offers a practice that will encourage you to practice focusing on a specific aspect of each pose, with the aim of developing your ability to stay attentive and clear in daily life.
This can either be done as a stand-alone class or as Day 3 of Guy's 8-Day Yoga for Life-Long Wellness Program.

A slow but challenging class. I really enjoyed the balance. Thank you Guy!
What an interesting class. Not physically vigorous but challenging to my concentration and balance. I will try this one again, it seems I need it. Thank you Guy!
With some modifications I was able to do this class two days after eye surgery. Obviously I can't fold so I concentrated on stretching my lower back in a very small forward fold. And squatted instead of bending over. Absolutely no discomfort or pressure to my eye and I can feel my blood flowing. Thank you, Guy!
Great stuff. This practice was thoroughly enjoyable. Relaxing, too.
I was somewhat skeptical at the start of this practice, but actually found it quite powerful in opening another facet of yoga - inner peace
I've been practicing Yoga for nearly 20 years, and I learned some new things about how & where to focus during specific poses from this video.
Thank you Guy, for introducing an added dimension of focus and gaze which I will carry into my future practices. One of the most productive classes I’ve taken ☺️
I really appreciate learning about the different arms of yoga. Although I have been practicing on and off for over 30 years, I've never heard of this spoken of so specifically. The arm of focus is initially what brought me to yoga, and this class is a wonderful practice. Namaste.
I am taking part in a research search study and as part of it I had a cognitive evaluation. One of the places where I need some strengthening is in focus and attentiveness. so this will be a good one for me. I could see that my eyes kept trying to find something else to look at. Thanks, Guy.
I woke with a foggy head this morning, but now gone thanks to this practice.
The practice of sustaining focus on a specific aspect of the poses made this surprising challenging at points. I guess that says something about my ability to stay attentive! This will be a practice that I return to, and carry into other classes. Thank you.
Great practice Guy and loved the focus and concentration aspect of the class.
Always great having a NEW Guy practice to do!!!!
What a wonderful class! Thank you, Guy. I will rotate this with Fiji’s chakra 6 class, which also teaches object focus. Looking forward to the rest of the series! Anna
