This powerful vinyasa yoga class with Tracey is a playful hip opening practice, centered around the gift we give ourselves of letting go. She encourages you to dive into twists and deep hip openers while giving you the ability to see beyond the physical asana. You will detoxify and slowly peel back the layers that often hold us back. This class is categorized as advanced, but may still be accessible to intermediate students.

I am so impressed how has quite a few poses shift for me. I was able to do handstand very easily, as well lotus with lifting up and transitions. I am endlessly grateful, how can we move deeper and deeper, yet with gentle and kind practise. All about patience and regural practise, thank you for great class. Namaste
Hi Tracey- thanks for this great class! Quick question though- when we were prepping for lotus and were doing tree on the mat and you had us turn our feet so the toes were pressed on them at and the foot was turned in- I never knew this area of my body existed- is this placement just very difficult if we have tight and ankles? I'm pretty flexible-although not flexible to really hold lotus) but my toes had such difficulty touching the floor. If this shouldn't be too difficult I'm wondering if I did the form incorrectly.
Thanks!
I chose this class because I was still sore from a 7 mile hike with a 3800 foot vertical climb (lots of switchbacks). I thought the class would help me release a bit even though I expected to be very tight. I don't know why, but I was able to complete the class with more strength and flexibility than ever before. My hips have relaxed, my tenderness is less and I think that hike made me stronger and better able to do this class. I am really grateful. I was feeling a little bummed because I could not get to the top (my kids went on as I asked them to). I made the decision to stop about 40 minutes from the top and still was in the dark for the last 1/2 mile down (with flashlight). I know it was a good decision to stop when I did because I think it would have been too much on my knees and hips to add another approx hour and half of hiking. After doing this class, I feel even better about my decision because I got stronger and more flexible and didn't hurt anything!! Yoga has really helped me learn to listen to my body and given me the strength to shush my ego. Thanks for this class!
On a day that feels more trying than most during these challenging times, this hour was exactly what I needed. Thank you so much Tracey and DoYogaWithMe!
