In this challenging intermediate class, Crista introduces you to akash mudra, the ether mudra, and shows you how to use it to find ease and lightness even in challenging poses like head and shoulder stand. Cultivate a sense of uplifting space within and without in this class that can be done as a stand-alone or as part of Crista's 14-day challenge: The Elements.

This practice was sublime for me. I guess air is my thing. The mantra touched me profoundly. Mind, body, words—cleanse, purify.
This is the second practice in this series that I have not been wild about, but it is okay for a shorter practice. To me, it felt a little rushed and the use of the mudra didn't feel as intentional or as integrated into the practice as in the other practices. Also, because I have neck issues, I'm trying to take a break from headstand, which is the peak pose, so I just stayed in wide legged forward fold. All the various leg movements that Crista does in headstand look really fun though, maybe one day I'll have that in my practice!
