In this challenging intermediate class, Crista introduces you to akash mudra, the ether mudra, and shows you how to use it to find ease and lightness even in challenging poses like head and shoulder stand. Cultivate a sense of uplifting space within and without in this class that can be done as a stand-alone or as part of Crista's 14-day challenge: The Elements.

FANTASTIC Christy! Thank you SOOO much for your wisdom, energy and LOVE:)
What a great lunchtime yoga! Turns everything upside down and offers some room for those cramped up soas muscles. All gratitude.
Loved it!!! What a great way to end the day. Definitely comforting during this time. These combinations of movements were refreshing and always a challenge. Many thanks Crista.
Health and Happiness.
Namaste
Thanks for this beautiful class. Feel so nourished afterwards.
Halfway through this challenge and loving it so much. Really appreciating the mudras and centering parts of each practice. This is such a timely challenge during COVID-19 lock-down. Thank you for bringing such beauty and opportunity to us during this crazy time.
PS. One of these days I will get to a handstand without falling over ;)
Another creative, playful, challenging yet soothing and grounding practice, Christa's delivery is just so amazing! Looove the mudras and mantras :) thank you!
This is the first real bit of yoga I've done since I started working from home last week. It's been difficult finding my way to a new routine, I suppose. This class was not only creative, perfectly cued, and challenging, but Crista's always-beautiful singing felt especially poignant right now. Take care of yourselves, everyone.
This practice today during Covid, brought me such peace! Thank you!
Beautiful, beautiful flow!!! Thank you!!
Scorpion plank, yet another new move. I love it. Thank you Crista.
A beautiful, different practice. First time doing Scorpion plank. Crista is playful in parts which is a wonderful part of her personality.
You won't be disappointed.
Beautiful flowing class. Really embodied ether. The scorpion headstand is something to work towards! This will be 'a go to 30 min class' for me along with Hanuman Fun and Class 2 in this series, thank you. Namaste x
Love love love Crista's creativity for embodying and practicing with ether. Loved the archer sequence and the Qi Gong flow. Not ready for headstand / scorpion but hey, so many modifications possible. Looking forward to more Elements classes.
Big gratitude to Crista & DYWM for making it possible - and sustaining my Yoga practice while it's snowy outside - so ethereal too.
This practice was sublime for me. I guess air is my thing. The mantra touched me profoundly. Mind, body, words—cleanse, purify.
This is the second practice in this series that I have not been wild about, but it is okay for a shorter practice. To me, it felt a little rushed and the use of the mudra didn't feel as intentional or as integrated into the practice as in the other practices. Also, because I have neck issues, I'm trying to take a break from headstand, which is the peak pose, so I just stayed in wide legged forward fold. All the various leg movements that Crista does in headstand look really fun though, maybe one day I'll have that in my practice!
