I adore this class, and the first one too. Between Christa and Tracey, I'm gradually progressing from an intermediate student of 20 years towards advanced, and it feels so fulfilling. Thank you so much.

I also had such pain the last few days between my shoulder blades and it is now released. Will be revisiting this class often as this is an area in my body I struggle with. Thank you David!

My hips are so thankful. And - I finally far enough into headstand to somersault instead! Hooray!

Loved this practice, will definitely do this one again. Just getting back into my practice after 3 1/2 months, wasn't sure where to start but this was a great place. Enjoyed!

I didn’t realize that the third chakra is where I’ve been feeling challenged - keeping my actions aligned with my intention... this practice opened up so many opportunities for reflection off the mat. So grateful.

After pulling my lower back muscles yesterday, I tried this practise but it was impossible to bare the discomfort of the tennis balls. I did continue without the balls and hoped for some release but it didn't really make any difference. It's such a shame as I want to continue with my beginners practise but the pain is not allowing me. Do you have any other suggestions to ease the tightness and pain in the lower back? Many thanks and I would like to add that up til now every practise has been terrific and made me feel lighter and stronger. I hope to be able to continue soon. Thank you!

This was a fun class! I did it at night since this is the only time I can practice yoga but it relaxed me and made all the stress of the day dissappear! Thank you Melissa, I really love your classes! Greetings from Mexico :-)

Hi David,

It has taken me nearly 3 months of daily work to get to the point where I felt strong enough to attempt this class, and it was an amazing experience now that I have done it. I have learned so much from you, ever since I first found that video of yoga for anxiety and depression which you made, and which I have gone through during tough times. Today, I feel a wonderful sense of accomplishment and I just wanted to say... thank you. The relaxation at the end of this class, in particular, was beautiful. You have such a gentle, calming voice. This class is amazing.

these advanced classes are the reason i stay with DYWM, so nice to have someone lead us into challenges. I have been doing yoga 20 years and have never really tried forearm stand without the wall, today I was able to do it without touching the wall at all!

Thank you for your question, Deborah. A pelvic floor class is a great idea. Will consider for the future. Pelvic floor muscles play an important role in breathing and movement. Weak pelvic floor muscles can cause incontinence and chronic pain in your lumbar spine, pelvis, and /or hips. If done correctly, Pilates will increase strength in your deep pelvic floor muscles in improve the above-mentioned issues. Really honing in on the cueing and muscle recruitment will help. When 'engaging' your abdominals ALWAYS engage your deep pelvic floor muscles FIRST, then zip it up from there to your navel. Lots to learn. Stay tuned for a Pelvic Floor class.

I needed to stretch out my body after two days of heavy gardening and this was just perfect. I wasn't sure such a short session would make much of a difference but I feel not only stretched out, but overall calmer, relaxed and grounded. Thank you Satiya!

Thank you Sarah-Jane for such a lovely, educational, and (at times) challenging practice. I'm 35 weeks pregnant with my first and am planning a home birth, so I can't wait to put these moves into practice! Namaste. :)

I really liked this class, thank you. It was quite challenging in some poses for a beginner but not too much. I really appreciate that some thought has gone into it so that I can be challenged enough to see where I'm making progress over time. I found the Savasana to be exceptional in this class, I could tangibly feel the practice integrating. I would have liked it a bit longer but then I'm always one for a long Savasana!
