Yoga for TMJ Pain Relief

Beginner I

Is your jaw tense? Do you experience frequent headaches and pain in your neck and jaw? In this short class, David takes you through a series of exercises that help you release the tension in your face, jaw, head and neck, relieving the symptoms of TMJ and chronic neck pain. You will learn how to massage, trigger point, stretch and relax the key muscles that are causing you discomfort.

Helpful. I was surprised how many trigger points this activated for me! I also think massage cream might make it work for better for my dry skin.

Having just learned I have TMJ last year, I was hoping that DYWM would focus on relief for this condition. Although David says it will take about 7 days to feel a marked difference, just doing this class once has relaxed my jaw/neck/face muscles to a noticeable difference. I’ll be doing this one every day!
