I love this and am now determined to do it regularly to see if I can get better. Is being able to hold these poses this long really beginner? I could do the basic tree for full time (well, almost on my weaker leg), but that was it. I can't imagine ever getting into the extended tree pose, but will keep working on improving my airplane!

Lovely teacher and good class. I wouldn't call it beginner. Long holds on one leg can cause joint problems for beginners, especially because there are no warm ups and no recommendations for stretching before getting into these balancing poses.

This is a lovely practice, but I could not achieve balance in any of the poses. It would be helpful to know how to modify them so that I can get stronger and work my way up to these! As always, Satiya is wonderful.

This was a nice balance challenge for my recently (a month ago) sprained ankle. I'm trying to build it back up to its former glory, and this class certainly helped! Plus, I felt so strong and joyful in airplane that I laughed when I stood back up. Thank you, Satiya!

For beginners

Such a wonderful video, and the Instructor Satya. Great job with the lesson. Just one thing, a majority of us who come to this site are beginners with little or no idea. and these balances are a little challenging for us. if the video could be made keeping us in mind, we might find it easier to practice. Thank you. Namaste. :)

Thank you, Satiya, for this video. You did a great job showing us the poses and how to stay grounded during them. I'm a yoga teacher's worst nightmare because my lack of balance and yet I achieved balance this evening. Thank you <3
