Wow! Thank you, Helen! This was the first time I've done a body-inclusive practice and it was so refreshing! I've never heard a yoga instructor tell me to just pick up my belly if it's in the way and shift it! XD I've been practicing yoga off-and-on for the last five years or so, but have only been taking my practice seriously this past year. I've also put on 50-70 lbs since I started doing yoga. I'm finding several poses that I used to be able to do a lot more difficult with extra body in the way. I would love to see some suggestions for a narrow-legged child's pose (is my butt somehow supposed to stay on my heels even with the extra rounding needed to get over my belly/thighs and touch my forehead down?) and cow face pose (I used to be able to get my knees to align, but now it seems I have too much thigh for that to be physically doable). Neither of these poses hurt, as if I'm going too deep, I just don't seem to have the space. Would LOVE to see more of your videos! Also, you have the coolest personality! So light and easy-breezy! Like one of the other instructors on here said (David maybe?), this was a lovely balance of ease and effort. The divine light in me sees and honours the divine light in you, Helen. Namaste.

Perfect - thank you Fiji. Having been injured for 4 weeks with torn ankle ligaments this was a lovely return to the mat class. Slow, flowing & thoughtful. I could adjust to take account of the ankle but it felt great to move again.

This is a masterpiece, Christa! You include everything we love about you (challenge, joy, silliness, intensity, spirituality, etc.) into this wholistic practice. It is indeed a paradox of peacefulness and excitement. One of my favorite practices of all time (25 years of practice!). Namaste.

Feeling overwhelmed by what was facing me today, I decided to start my day with this practice and it was nourishing, grounding and better than a cup of coffee to help me feel centered. The pranayamas made me feel clear, open and calm. Thank you, Jonni-Lyn.
