I almost decided not to do this class but I'm glad I did. Julia's message of love, her compassion and gentleness, and her clear and calm instruction have made me feel a lovely sense of peace this evening. The reason I almost didn't do this class is because some of the comments here are quite misleading about the class content. There is no outdated "men are from mars, women are from venus" messaging in Julia's class. Julia very beautifully and graciously centers the class around the principle that there are masculine and feminine energies in all of us regardless of our gender identity - which is quite the opposite stance to those who back in the dark ages believed in that "men are from mars" simplistic and stereotype-based approach to the gender binary. These energies may have been coded in gendered terms, but don't belong to any particular gender, and Julia does a lovely job of conveying this message of acceptance and inclusion. Julia, thank you for this wonderful class. If you read these comments, I also really hope you don't internalize the comment below criticizing you for wearing makeup. However you choose to express yourself is just that - your choice. As women we really don't need more shame put upon us for how we present ourselves and our bodies to the world. The message of love and acceptance in your class has helped me a lot today, and I hope you teach more classes like this in the future. <3

Absolutely my favorite video on this site over the last couple of years. It is the culmination of everything I am looking for: balance, static holds, hamstring stretches, quad burns, ab burns. Thank you Fiji :)

I tend to be just a little afraid of Christa's classes as she can be quite challenging, but I've done this one several times and enjoy it immensely. My neck and shoulder prefer I skip the head and hand stands, but at 64, I felt really strong throughout the practice and almost fell asleep during the ocean wave lullaby at the end.

Wonderful class. Loved all the nature sounds and the deer right at the beginning. One thing I would mention is on the second side before triangle pose the hip flexor and hamstring stretch was skipped. I just paused the video and did it but anyone who wants to be even on both sides keep a look out for this! :)

Perfect class for me, as I re-start my yoga practice after recovering from covid. Thank you Tracey for your calm insightful guidance. I love how on DYWM I always seem to be drawn to a class that fits what I need. Today I needed to remind myself how it is to be active again with strength and purpose. This class does just that.

Thank you Tracey, a beautiful antidote to the current craziness. Great to be reminded that there is a calm in the current moment when you are willing to let it find you. X

This practice allowed me to feel and release some deep emotion. I am so grateful. Nyk has a wonderfully calm and soothing way with just enough cues. I highly recommend this to unwind and relax.

"Absolute Best" i wrote to myself in bookmarks a couple years ago... "do this once a week when have 1 hour". And boy i wish i had. too many enticing and fabulous new practices to try here for that though!
This is truly what i look for and want in a regular practice: a little warm up, a strong Sur A+B, more flow, good strength building, a few balance challenges (is it just me or does our natural balance plummet fast after 40?), and some really luscious and challenging OUTER hip openers, with lots of breathing time. I still pause and hold them even longer, so it actually becomes an 80min practice... But truly-- this session is pure gold (esp for tight hips), and you Rachel...you are a true master and bright shiny light. TY.
