This was not my jam. I’ve never liked Pilates so I think that’s probably the root cause of my disappointment in this session. I felt there was not enough muscle prep for moving into the stretches or the body movements so everything just wound up feeling sudden. Also not intermediate level, more towards the advanced beginner level. I’ve done other Julia videos and liked her yoga a lot, so really I think I’m just not a Pilates person. But I wanted to give this a shot and I’m glad I did…for anyone who doesn’t like Pilates, I’d recommend a different video. If Pilates is your jam, you’ll probably enjoy this one. But it is not particularly difficult, so keep that in mind as well.

Delicious gentle stretching that was just this ticket this Sunday morning after a several days of inactivity due to bad cold. Melissa is a great teacher - explains things well and gives plenty of options in each pose. TY Melissa! 🌈

Lovely practice for sore lower back and neck! I had outpatient surgery a few days ago that left me in bed for a couple days. My hips and low back and neck were so sore. Josh's practice opened up those tight spots in a soothing, calming way. Thank you, Josh!

Thank you for this class. I did this class a lot when I first started practicing yoga. Today I revisited it again because I'm recovering from a cranky back and a broke toe. This class is just what I needed. During the end of class meditation I could actually feel the healing energy going to my toe. Wow, I've never had that to happen before. You have helped me so much over the years. Thanks!

This was such a well rounded class, loved it. The slow pace allows to pay attention to alignment and finding the strength needed in every poses. I beautiful way to start the day. Thanks, Melissa - wonderful structured!

Lovely practice. Are there any modifications for the first sequence where we support one leg with one knee on the ground. That does not feel right to me, but I would like to have a similar challenge with a pose that is a better fit for me.
