I have mixed feelings about this practice. I didn't like that the practice started with down dog with no warm up time meaning I struggled to get into the practice for the first 5-10 minutes. I also felt the transitions between the poses was quite fast meaning I was generally a step behind although this didn't overly bother me. There was no detailed instruction once in a pose as to how to correct and make better the pose, although the class is rated as intermediate so anyone doing the class should be familiar with poses such as the warrior poses, down dog etc. I feel that poses such as shoulder stand and head stand should not be attempted without a professional in the room to guide you unless you are very familiar with and practice these poses regularly and that it should be mentioned in the description that these poses are part of the practice. Overall I give this practice 3 stars, I enjoyed it but I have my concerns about some of the poses.

What an absolutely beautiful gentle practice. I'm a yoga teacher living in rural Japan and it's really important to me to "join" and learn from other teachers. Where we live makes that very difficult.

I truly appreciate the quality of the instructors on DYWM. I'm a senior myself and this practice was such a blessing on this rainy Saturday morning. Satiya is so calming and comforting - a real gem. Thanks so much for this practice.

Great class! I love that it includes both physical and spiritual aspects with meditation and chanting. I practiced outside which added even more and left me sweaty and feeling great!

nearly all my favorite poses, including dragonfly, thanks for now burningout our arms on balances but using the majority of class to open legs and torso

David,
As a follower since 2017, wherever I travel in pursuit of taking time to rest the body and seek release, those three
short audios on meditation (anxiety) make such an impression. Essentially listening to one audio helps seek calm,
and a quiet mind. The presence of your voice has been a consistent presence on long flight overseas, or simply taking
30 minutes on the couch. The benefits have brought clarity and focus to me physically ( stomach inflammation)
and mentally. It's like self help with another voice in the room. Thank you so very much.

Good class! I would have like if he described which poses he's headed into each time and for long each pose is held, because I found it challenging to follow unless I was watching the screen.

Completely agree! I chose this class because of your comments here. :) My left glute and leg were tingling all day. This gave me the stretch I needed. I, too, would like to see more Intermediate classes from David. I enjoy the intent, meaning and instruction with each stretch.
