I first tried yoga simply to increase my strength and flexibility, not realizing the life enhancing journey it would lead me on and the all round benefits to my body, mind and spirit. Becoming a teacher then came naturally from delving deeper as a student. My first teacher training was a unique and special experience, I lived with a family in India and they taught me yoga as they had learnt it. The traditional aspects of hatha have then led my practice, having breath and awareness always at the center. When practicing with me, whether a gentle or fiery practice, expect to slow things down and go deep into all aspects of self.
