February clearly took a shortcut this year... how did it arrive so quickly? The excitement of the New Year is starting to fade and the practicalities of life are reasserting themselves. Maybe shoveling the snow is just going to have to be your practice today. Maybe your morning meditation is going to be accompanied by the howling of the neighbor's dog... again. Maybe lunch is going to be something you will regret eating once your stomach is full. In the face of all the maybes, remember that the resistance to what may be is far more troubling than what is. If a maybe becomes what is, respond with "so be it!"
