We’ve done this every night for the past month. Our kids share a room and both the 5 and 3 year old are calmed by it. The 3 year old is going thru the fear phase so this reinforces what we tell her which is you’re comfortable and safe in your bed, in your room. Her fears of us leaving seem to be getting better!
