I love all the yin classes on this site, but I think this one is my absolute favorite. Sarah Jane's energy is so calming and the sequence of postures is perfect. I need to do this one more often!

Thank you very much for this great class, David! I can reach the peak pose, but canˋt keep my back straight in the final pose. Should I keep more attention to the straight back and or is it ok??
Thanks in advance for the advice!
Vera

Great class, as always!

I find that when I move into warrior 1 the 45 degree angle foot causes a lot of stress in my calf and ankle. Sometimes I'll just point it out the same was as warrior 2 because it tends to build up tension and pressure doing it the "right way"

Does anyone else have this problem? Should I try to ease into the 45 degree angle over time or is this one small compromise I can make to listen to my body?

This was a comforting practice. It built a little heat which was nice too.

Fiji is always a great teacher and this is another practice that won't disappoint.

I can't thank you enough for this class. I did something to my right hip a few months ago. Physio, IMS, more physio, slow progress. It's still not right, but infinitely better. But I still hadn't gotten back to doing yoga.
Two friends had recently written telling me they'd been feeling depressed. I had also fallen into a pretty big fog from being in pain and doing so little exercise. I told one of the friends about the things I do to pull myself out, Yoga being one.
Rather bold of me to say that when i hadn't done yoga in months because of the hip, then the lazy.
Yesterday, I followed my own advice and did this class. I did it again today.
You are so right Miss Rachel, it's vital to take time to connect to our breath!
Thank you so much for this class. It's excellent. And thanks for this site. So many wonderful teachers and classes.
