Eka means one; hasta means a hand; and bhuja is an arm. The Leg Over Shoulder Pose gives one a feeling of power and grace. To rest the leg over your arm requires a significant amount of hip flexiblity and to raise the body from the ground demands quite a bit of shoulder and arm strength.
