Ubhaya means both; Padangustha is big toe. The Double Toe Hold pose is an effective forward bend, similar to Double Leg Forward Stretch, with the additional challenge of balancing. This pose strengthens core, legs; stretches back, hamstrings, calves and lengthens the spine.
