This practice was a bit challenging for me. Although I could have edged into some negative self-judgement, Fiji's kind and positive words made me focus on being resilient and allowed me to let go of any negativity ;) Also, I liked beginning with pranayama and there was a nice flow to this sequence.

My first yoga video of 2019! This was great for anyone who was a strict practitioner of yoga and is trying to get back into the swing of things.

I have been wanting to get into yoga for a while now. I have dabbled a little, but am very thankful for the challenge and instruction! I look forward to continuing to learn and grow!

It was useful paying so much attention to my breath. I found it really difficult though to maintain the speed - I kind of felt like I was hyperventilating. Also, I’m curious about how the pelvic floor works with the breath. I have been doing Pilates (post natal) and the teaching seems s to be opposite - contracting pelvic floor on exhale (as you would when you sneeze). Please can you clarify? Thanks.

This practice had quite a few of my favorite stretches, and Tracey is always such a joy. I like to practice with my eyes closed usually, but a few of the cues were confusing and/or lacked too much detail and I couldn't follow without watching her. Otherwise, it is a wonderful class for stretching and opening the shoulders.
