What You'll Experience
This 7-day yoga challenge was designed by Rachel Scott to help you discover or rediscover the fundamentals of yoga, while challenging you as a beginner or intermediate student.
Each day, Rachel will explore one fundamental concept and teach you how to integrate it into your practice. You’ll learn how to set up your foundation, activate through your pelvis, twist and back bend with integrity, engage your core, strengthen and align your shoulders, and bring it all together on day 7 with a final integrative flow. You will also learn how to connect with your breath through basic breathing techniques taught at the end of each class.
By going back to basics, this challenge provides a good foundation to build a safe and rewarding yoga practice, making it perfect for those beginning their yoga journey or seasoned yogis in need of a little refresher.

Excellent. Rachel is the best for alignment and subtle adjustments that advance one's practice.
I haven't done this practice in years, and am happy I did return to be reminded and encouraged by the learning the fundamentals again. Thank you Rachel.
I was just thinking the same, today. I am going to go back and find that Rachel Fundamentals Challenge and put in a week of it. Rachel is the GOAT when it comes to instructing the basics and what your body should feel like in different positions. I encourage everyone to return to the basics for reminders and to improve the more advanced practice.

Happened across this just looking for a class one day, and ended up joining along for the week... Absolutely amazing! Have been looking for a way to safely get back to the mat after a long absence, and with a renewed commitment to form and technique. This week-long challenge was the perfect way to ground back into basics, brought awareness to my body throughout the day, and left me empowered to go tackle more classes. Thank you Rachel!

Phew! very good for me! I needed to increase my yoga difficulty but not ready for intermediate at all. lots of details to focus on what the muscles are doing! This I see increases the benefits of the pose. I'm still having trouble connecting my brain to control my inner thigh muscles to turn in, but awareness has increased. I will continue!
