For the past six months, we have been carefully designing our 2023 Beginner New Year’s Program to be an impactful experience for all students, regardless of experience. Combining informative articles, on-demand and live classes, and multiple instructors, the goal is to give you the knowledge and confidence needed to practice yoga safely and make significant, meaningful progress, then provide you with an easy way to continue to do yoga anytime, anywhere, once the program is over.
After leading online yoga classes and programs for 14 years, we understand how to build an experience that creates change. For 14 years, we have have been driven to perfect how we interact with you, ensuring that our guidance feels simple, skilled and supportive. We want every piece of content that we create to help you feel better and understand yourself more deeply.
That is the essence of this program as well - it is meant to help you start a journey that will influence your life in a lasting, positive way. We believe that once you fully understand yoga's benefits for body and mind, how to practice at home, and how to incorporate it into your life, you will easily be able to ease the tightness in your body from a day at your desk, reduce daily stress and anxiety from work or family, improve athletic performance and experience greater well being. We want to be the guide and support system that will get you there.
Along with on-demand video and blog articles, this program is unique because it features four live sessions, beginning with an hour-long Live Zoom Discussion with four teachers (David, Helen, Julia, and Sarada). They discuss the challenges they experienced when starting yoga, how they have maintained their practice and the benefits they have seen in themselves and their students. The remaining three live zoom classes are during weeks one, two, and three, led by David, Rachel, and Josh, and provide an opportunity for them to check in with you and make sure that you are on the right path.
