This slow-paced, gentle hatha yoga class uses a block and a bolster and plenty of modifications to help ease you into the yoga practice, calm your nerves, slow down your mind and encourage your body to relax. In Sarah's first class with DYWM, she brings her 13 years of teaching experience and certifications in Integrative Yoga Therapy, Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, Functional Yoga Therapy, Restorative Yoga and Pain Care Yoga into this all levels class. If you don't have a bolster, learn how to make a bolster at home. The beautiful background music playlist is provided by Yogitunes.

Thanks Sarah, this class was perfect for me today as I am recovering from an illness and didn't feel like doing anything too energetic. The pacing and the level were exactly right.

Finally someone who doesn't push the downward dog as the be all and end all - the modifications were brilliant. Usually I feel like a failure in yoga because I can't put weight on my hands /wrists so I struggle with cat/cow and dog :-) This was soooo good to be given options and told it's ok !

Very nice class - we both enjoyed it. We try to do classes with DoYogaWithMe on the days we don't go to "live" classes, and it helps round out our practice. This class with its relaxed and slow stretching is just the thing. Thank you. Namaste.
