Take a break from moving and flowing to settle into stillness. In this practice, Nyk guides you through a full-body yin sequence that's designed to create a sense of groundedness in your body from your head to your toes. Note: You will need two blankets and two blocks for this class.

This can either be done as a stand-alone class or as Day 7 of Grounding and Strength 14-Day Beginner Yoga Challenge.

Second time posting this comment - a bit of a glitch at the robot box.
Anyway, I really enjoyed the lesson starting with centering - many of the other lessons don't and I miss it. A very relaxing and meditative practice - I feel a lot better. I appreciate the acupressure point for grounding - good to know. I also appreciate the choice to have music or no music. I prefer without as I find that I can go deeper into my practice without music. This is one of the reasons that I enjoy doing the programs as you find teachers and lessons that you would normally not choose. Great lesson.

Hi Nyk....I love your yin and restorative classes. My favorites on this site are the outdoor classes. So glad you are outside for this one...can you consider doing more outdoors when able?! I am in Ontario and love seeing the West Coast. I used to live out there! Namaste and thanks Nyk:)

My favorite Nyk class so far, thank you! I was pleasantly surprised at how strong of a practice it was, with lots of options to sink deeper or step back a bit as needed. My only suggestion with this class and others would be to mention right/left sides. I'm often so in the moment that I don't remember which side I just did, so the "other side" or "other leg" isn't always helpful. (But, I suppose, that's something to work on in my yoga practice.)

Thanks so much I’m glad you liked. I normally do cue left and rights but that typically leaves lefties always practicing on their less favoured side.
