Ah, as said below....Christa's classes always feel fun. You never feel bad if you can't do a peak pose cause it really feels like play. I always feel so lighthearted and on a great high afterwards. Man, I am an Introvert and have never done an actual in person yoga class before. If Christa was actually in Portland, I feel I would go to her classes. Thank you so much, Christa. Namaste
Crista has been an interesting of vessel of the practice of yoga since I have found your wonderful site! I am a spiritual individual who likes to maintain strict adherence to healthy psychological practices, for not only myself but each fellow traveler, WHICH fabulously is a part of the spiritual practice in and of itself! Like worship, I find music, various art forms, and even the practice of yoga as a natural expression of a spiritual intention that are gifts and are to operate within stated boundaries for the true interpretation of the practice to be edifying and harmless. I find those who embody the makeup of the discipline themselves, or at least the mere elemental & w/in obtuse proximity of such a crucial expression, to be quite obvious.
You are such a delight, Krista! My grumpy mood melted away as I watched your sparkly smile and got a little air time.
Interesting combinations/transitions of poses, especially for standing splits. Crista's classes are fun and lighthearted, and because of that it doesn't feel like a fail if I can't do the most challenging poses; it just feels like play. :) And beautiful nature sounds during savasana. Thanks!
