Yin/Yang Yoga for the Shoulders and Upper Back
670 Followers
The yin comes before the yang in this wonderful, heart-opening, shoulder-releasing and back pain-relieving yin/yang yoga class. Sarah-Jane helps you ease into a series of intense yin poses to release the shoulders first, then moves you through a flow that deepens shoulder openers before you lie down to relax in savasana. Note: you need a bolster, pillow or folded blanket for this class.

So nice just what I needed. Thank you
Love it! I should have been doing this years ago. Thank you.
No warming up. I was really stiff from a whole day in the office and I injured my right shoulder for the first time after 5 y of following these programs.
I really did not like this one. I've never heard of doing Yin first. We've always done Yang first in order to get the body warm before going into the deep stretches. This class went immediately into extremely deep poses that I wasn't able to do because I was still cold and not stretched at all. I typically love Vin/Yin classes, but I can't do deep stretches before I'm warm, which I think is typical for everyone?
