As she did in her popular Twist and Stretch class, Melissa guides you gently through a series of lovely, effective poses, focusing on bending but covering the entire body in an calm, attentive way. I do this class about 3 times per week. I've practice many different types of yoga from Bikram to Kundalini, but I practice this sequence the most. I feel a huge sense of relief in my hips and back and it's the perfect length to squeeze into any day.
Technically speaking, I love how the teacher guides you with a voiceover (when a teacher is speaking and practicing at the same time, the noise causes me to lose concentration). The sound quality is great, I am easily distracted, so if a video has too much background noise I prefer to find another one.
This was my first ever yoga video from DYWM. I have done a couple of yoga classes and a few yoga video's but not for many years. I did about 9 months of pilates last year. I enjoyed this video - although was sadly quite limited by space in my room. I found it difficult at times, particularly as I seem to have some very tight spots in my body and found myself shaking during some of the poses. I'll definitely persist and hopefully with some bigger space and practice it'll get better. Thanks.
I am bored easily by most gentle stretch videos. I am high energy but my muscles get sore too, so this session is perfect! Adding to my rotation.
This was the perfect yoga video for me to do in my office during my lunch break. Definitely centers me and helps me forget about the stressors of the day. Thank you.
