This is the most challenging version of Nadhi Sodhana (Alternate Nostril Breathing) - 8 seconds breathing in, 16 breathing out. It takes time to work your way up to breathing this slowly and deeply, but once you do, it's incredibly rewarding. It's deeply calming and healing to the body, mind and spirit.
