Melissa has been in the wellness industry for 20 years, certified as a personal trainer in 2000 and as a yoga teacher in 2005, with over 10,000 hours of teaching experience. Throughout her yoga career she has continued to learn, completing Natalie Rousseau's Advanced Teacher Training, Melanie Phillips' Ayurveda Immersion, many hours of Restorative Yoga Training and is currently enrolled in a 300 hour teacher training program to complete her ERYT 500. Melissa has taught extensively and on many platforms. After producing her first DVD in 2009 she had a weekly TV segment, has taught at the BCRPA Island Fitness Conference in 2012 and 2013, the Victoria Yoga Conference in 2014, 2015 and 2016, online at doyogawithme.com, as well as developing the 'Stop Your Bladder from Running Your Life' workshops with physiotherapist Jodi Ganton, which teaches participants healthy bladder habits. Melissa is a kind soul and lovely person who puts her heart and soul into every class she teaches.
Interests:When I'm not teaching I can be found chilling out with a good book, having a giggle with my friends, enjoying a beer at a music festival and spending time with my family. I also love practicing yoga, walking and just generally being outside.
