Yoga for Runners: Post-Run
Practicing a few yoga poses after a run, when your muscles are warm and soft, will make you feel a whole lot better the next day. Post-run yoga will decrease injuries and improve the health and strength of muscles. Also, tense muscles have trouble receiving enough blood. Stretching improves the muscles' access to healthy blood and oxygen.

This class is the perfect follow-up to any lower body workout. Although it's short, it's full of deep and juicy stretches for the quads and hamstrings. It makes a HUGE difference in how I feel post-run ... without it I feel stiff as a board the next day. The only thing missing is a good glute stretch at the end:) Thanks again Fiji for another amazing class !
Thank you for these masterful classes Fiji.. I have wanted to run for years but never managed with knee problems. These 3 running classes have helped me enormously, especially the focus on alignment, hips, core, building strength. I think a large part of why I am now enjoying running so much is getting to do this class afterwards, it feels fantastic. Namaste xx
