This kids class focuses on imagination, telling a simple story through a sequence of postures. Each character in the story is represented through different poses. The central character is a tree standing on the side of a mountain. Along the way, the tree meets Mr. Very Bad #1 and Mr. Very Bad #2 (virabhadrasana 1 and 2), and happily continues from there through to a final rest in the forest.

We like that yoga video and I really like when they chime their bells. It's fun. From an age 6 big fan.

I'm a beginner level yoga student, new to DYWM and still exploring teachers and classes. It's been a very long time since I was a kid, but I decided to preview this video out of curiosity about how Guy would approach yoga for kids. He's creative and entertaining. The two child students are adorable and demonstrate that pursuit of focus and balance is a lifelong challenge that begins in childhood. I'm sure I'll remember the 2 very bad guys the next time I'm in warrior I and II poses. A slight change in title captures it for me: Yoga for Kids 6 to 12 (or kids of any age): The Tree and the Very Bad Guys.
